Summit County Proposed Charter Amendment

Issue 4: LWV Akron & Hudson Support

Passage of Issue 4 would change the office of County Engineer from an elected office to a position appointed by the County Executive, effective January 1, 2013.

City of Hudson Proposed Charter Amendments

Issue 19: LWV Hudson is Neutral no position under which to take action on

Passage of Issue 19 would change Section 9.02 of the Hudson City Charter so as not to require a public hearing for Planning Commission approvals of streets and land subdivision in zoning districts in the City where both industrial and office uses are permitted be adopted?

Issue 20: LWV Hudson is Neutral no position under which to take action on

Passage of Issue 20 would change Sections 9.02 and 9.07 of the Hudson City Charter, which replace the Architectural and Historic Board of Review’s authority with the authority of the Planning Commission to review and approve zoning certificate applications in zoning districts where both industrial and office uses are permitted be adopted?
